The Infometis Academy's course offerings are continuously expanded and adapted. A new addition is the "Getting Started with Kanban" training, which will take place on June 19th and 20th, 2018 at Infometis in Zurich.
In the "Getting Started with Kanban" course, participants not only learn the principles and practices of Kanban , but also discover in a playful way how push and pull systems differ. Furthermore, the course examines and demonstrates why working faster usually doesn't lead to faster completion of the work. The impact of the workload on lead times is also a fascinating aspect.
By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to build and operate their own Kanban system. It's important to understand that Kanban isn't about unleashing a company-wide revolution, but rather about continuously optimizing the system through small steps using the principles of continuous improvement(Kaizen).
Whether I want to improve my time-to-market, optimize the lead times within my team/project, or focus on prioritization, a functioning Kanban system shows me the weaknesses of my system so that I can address them.
