As a UiPath partner, Infometis to the official product launch event for the UiPath Swiss Automation Cloud – jointly presented by our partners UiPath and Microsoft. In this blog post, we would like to share our impressions and highlight the most important aspects for our customers.
A central Agentic Automation platform – now in the Swiss Cloud
The UiPath Automation Cloud is already well-known as a powerful automation platform. Now, in collaboration with Microsoft, it's also available as a Swiss-hosted version in the Microsoft Azure cloud in Switzerland . This gives companies – especially those in highly regulated industries – the opportunity to access a central platform for agentic automation that meets the highest compliance and governance requirements .
This announcement also included several important innovations that further strengthen UiPath Cloud as an integral agentic automation platform
Some highlights at a glance
- UiPath AI Trust Layer: In combination with operation in the Swiss cloud, the platform meets increased compliance requirements, such as regulatory requirements of FINMA.
- LLM Gateway: Companies can use any Large Language Models (LLMs) – from Microsoft AI Foundry to private LLMs provided by Infometis or operated by customers themselves.
- Diverse integrations: The platform efficiently integrates relevant company knowledge, thus supporting the use of state-of-the-art agents.
- UiPath as an integral BPMN platform: With consistent support for BPMN, UiPath is increasingly evolving into an end-to-end automation platform that holistically maps processes and sets new standards among established BPMN platforms.
Agentic test automation becomes reality
In addition to the Automation Cloud, the UiPath Test Cloud is now also available in the Swiss Cloud. This makes agentic test automation a reality: test coverage can be expanded through the use of AI agents, while tests are increasingly created and executed using an agent-based approach.
Of particular note is the comprehensive support for all SAP technologies, methodologies, and frameworks. Using the SAP Heatbox , it was demonstrated how the test coverage of an SAP implementation can be centrally analyzed with real-time data – a crucial advancement for companies relying on SAP.
Another highlight of the event was the presentation by LGT Bank, which uses agents to generate synthetic test data. This use case not only demonstrated the technology's potential but also won an award at this year's UiPath Agent Hack as a joint project with Infometis.
Furthermore, the expansion to include load and performance testing announced: Functional test cases can now be easily converted into L&P scenarios and used early in the development process. This makes an agent-based testing companion tangible, supporting companies in all testing phases.

The UiPath Swiss Automation Cloud impressively demonstrates how the automation and testing of the future can be shaped. By combining agentic automation, agentic test automation, and a comprehensive AI-powered integration platform, it creates an ecosystem that offers companies a central platform for all their automation needs and AI use cases.
