We are pleased version 1.1 of our Test Data Orchestrator (TDO) . This new version brings significant improvements in test data delivery, enhanced search capabilities, integration with test management tools, and optimized data management.

Improved test data search for efficient testing
The biggest new feature in TDO 1.1 is the integration of an enhanced search function for test data constellations. The proven search capabilities of our API are now directly available to manual testers. This allows you to find test data faster and more precisely and integrate it directly into your test specifications and test execution.

How does it work?
1. Syntax for filtering by an attribute: <Attribut Name>: <Gesuchter Wert>
2. Syntax for filtering by multiple attributes (separate attributes with commas): <Attribut Name X>: <Gesuchter Wert>, <Attribut Name Y>: <Gesuchter Wert>
-> The search is case sensitive
Quick links
Thanks to the new quick links, search parameters can be shared as direct access. This enables simple and rapid integration into any test management tool or other test planning software.

How does it work?
1. Filter test data
2. Click the “Copy search query Url” button
3. Insert the URL into an XRay test case, Jira issue, Confluence page, or any other location.
4. Available test datasets are displayed directly in TDO and can be used in the test scenario
Optimized management of locked test data
In TDO 1.1, we have further optimized the management of locked test data:
New features:
- The enhanced search function now allows the explicit inclusion or exclusion of locked elements
- Unified terminology: On the API, locked elements are now consistently referred to as "locked" (instead of "consumed"). You can find more information in our Swagger description.
To get the most out of TDO 1.1, we recommend:
1. Familiarize yourself with the advanced search function
2. Use the URL sharing feature for recurring search queries
3. Use the new filter options for locked items in your search queries
4. Adapt your scripts to the new locked terminology using `consumed`
