No. LiveCompare Smart Impact Analysis shows you in both of the scenarios mentioned which changes need to be tested anew and regressively.
Using clever, AI-supported algorithms, LiveCompare detects, analyzes, and evaluates high-risk functional areas and their dependencies based on a wide range of criteria, directly from within the operational environment. Situation: The system works perfectly in the pre-production environment, but unfortunately, not all relevant changes have been deployed to production. Critical errors occur because not all dependencies have been considered. Even if testers have successfully tested important program flows, these may not work in production. How? By monitoring and comparing production and pre-production systems in a regular cycle (so-called snapshots), LiveCompare reliably detects all code and configuration changes at the component level. It can then determine whether all dependencies for the bundled software package to be installed have been taken into account.
