The talent program at Infometis is an entry-level position for IT-trained individuals with little to no professional experience who want to make the move into IT consulting. Instead of a traditional internship, we offer a structured entry-level position that opens up long-term development prospects and is supported by targeted mentoring and practical training.
Our talents start as Automation Genius Talents and develop into professionals through targeted training, mentoring, and project experience. Within the Automation team, there is later the opportunity to advance to Senior Automation Genius and assume strategic responsibility.
In addition to specializing in automation, Infometis offers other roles such as Business Solutioneer and Quality Ambassador, which cover different areas of focus in consulting.

They contribute their expertise in various fields:

For us, New Work means designing flexible work arrangements and thinking innovatively. We rely on modern methods, continuous learning, and a culture that specifically promotes individual strengths.
Our talented employees receive a competitive salary – because they are our most valuable resource. From the very beginning, they are actively involved in client projects and take on responsibility early on. This allows them to quickly grow into their roles, gain valuable practical experience, and make a real contribution to project success.
Ibrahim
Ibrahim was one of Infometis' first talents and has been instrumental in shaping the program from the very beginning. In the early stages, we developed together and continuously refined the program. His focus is on test automation and DevOps processes. He works with tools such as Selenium, Tosca, and Jenkins.
“Switching from Graphic & Motion Design to IT Consulting was a fantastic opportunity for me. My first project was with the Zurich Cantonal Social Welfare Office (KSA). Prior to this project, I had no experience with TypeScript and Cypress, so it was a true learning-by-doing phase. Although getting started was challenging and the test environment initially struggled with performance and other technical issues, I was able to acquire the necessary knowledge within a few months and present the client with a solid solution. I developed an efficient and structured test framework based on the Page Object Model, enabling sustainable and maintainable test automation. I am particularly grateful to my colleagues at Infometis, who supported me during critical phases and provided valuable input.”
Marvin
Marvin, along with Ibrahim, is one of the first members of the talent program and specializes in performance and load testing. He supports client projects with performance and load testing tools such as NeoLoad, as well as with test automation tools including Tosca, DataIntegrity, and LiveCompare.
“After just a few weeks, I was able to start my first long-term client project at Bank Julius Baer and work with tools like Tosca, Data Integrity, and LiveCompare. This allows me to gain valuable hands-on experience while simultaneously pursuing targeted professional development through courses and certifications to continuously expand my expertise. Thanks to my 80% position, I also have the opportunity to complete my studies in Business Informatics while working.”

Tim
Tim is currently developing his skills in test automation and gaining initial experience in consulting. He started with the tools Tosca, NeoLoad, TestRail, and UiPath.
"From the very beginning, I was shown a great deal of trust and had the opportunity to choose from various areas of responsibility. After just a few months, my first project assignment started at the Competence Center for Digitalization and Informatics (OIZ) of the City of Zurich – this show of confidence is a great motivation for me."
Corrado
Corrado works on exciting test management projects. Through close collaboration with experienced colleagues, he learns to familiarize himself with complex customer requirements. His current tools: Tosca, NeoLoad, UiPath.
"The variety of different programs makes the work particularly exciting. After two months, I was able to participate in a Proof of Concept (PoC) at AXA Insurance. This was a great start, and I was able to look over the shoulder of an experienced colleague."
We deliberately chose this model because our consultants typically work for a client for extended periods. This means that joining a project often only becomes possible after a certain lead time. With a traditional internship, the assignment would often be too short to gain meaningful experience and actively contribute to projects. Therefore, we rely on the talent program – a sustainable solution for both sides.
“I think Infometis’ talent program is fantastic. Young talents are introduced to their tasks in a structured way and quickly take on responsibility. This brings real added value – both for the talents and for us as clients.” – Project Manager at a Swiss private bank
