Design Thinking: Foundation Level

Program & Content

This introductory Design Thinking course teaches the fundamentals of Design Thinking, combined with various practical exercises that help participants gain experience in applying Design Thinking. A full-day Design Thinking workshop follows. The certification covers the following aspects of Design Thinking:

• Introduction to Design Thinking
• Basic Design Thinking Practices
• Design Thinking approaches (e.g., Double Diamond, Stanford d.School)
• Design Thinking techniques (e.g., Service Safari, Empathy Map, etc.)
• Implementation of Design Thinking

Target audience

This course is relevant for any open-minded person who wants to solve problems and find appropriate, creative solutions. Design Thinking is a group-based process. Bringing together creative design thinkers and users from the target group can lead to surprising solutions and – most importantly – it's fun for everyone.
