Trust is good, automation is better – from requirements to compliance
For Serhiy, software quality doesn't end with a green test result. It also includes the question of whether an application is secure, traceable, and compliant with regulations. He brings this perspective from an exceptional career path. Alongside his computer science studies, Serhiy has intensively studied international and European law and is currently pursuing a part-time Master's degree in Information and Cyber Security at HSLU. This means he understands not only how to build robust test automation but also the underlying requirements for data protection, compliance, and ISO 27001 audits.
In the insurance industry, Serhiy has designed end-to-end test automation frameworks from the ground up and integrated them into CI/CD pipelines. He takes a sustainable approach. Automation shouldn't just work today, but remain maintainable and stable. The human element is equally important to him. Sharing knowledge, coaching team members on best practices, and making technical topics understandable for different stakeholders are all part of his craft. His goal is test automation that builds trust: in the software, in the processes, and in the team behind it.
